In short. Everything in this app is made by Sound of Soma (Anagen Pty Ltd) and is protected by copyright. It is here for your own personal use. Please don't copy, record, re-upload, resell or teach from it without written permission. It supports relaxation and wellbeing; it is not medical treatment.

1. Your health comes first

Sound of Soma offers sound healing, breathwork, meditation and relaxation practices to support general wellbeing. Nothing in this app is medical, psychological or other health advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment for any condition, and it does not replace care from your doctor or another qualified health professional.

Keep seeing your doctor for anything that worries you, and don't stop or change any treatment or medication because of something in this app.
The body map describes traditional and energetic ideas about how emotions may be felt in the body. It is a way of reflecting, not a medical explanation of symptoms. Pain that is new, severe or getting worse needs a doctor first.
Don't use the sound, breathwork or movement practices while driving or operating machinery. Stop any practice that makes you feel dizzy, faint or unwell.
If you are pregnant, have epilepsy or seizures, a pacemaker or other implanted device, a heart condition, a serious mental health condition, or tinnitus or other hearing concerns, check with your doctor before using binaural beats, breathwork or loud sound, and keep the volume low.

2. Terms of use

By using the Sound of Soma app you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Your licence. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app and its content for your own private, non-commercial wellbeing while you have access. This licence ends if your membership ends or you break these terms.
What you can't do. You must not copy, download (other than with the app's own "Save offline" feature), record, screen-record, rip, re-upload, share, sell, rent, broadcast or publicly play any audio, video, text, image, script, journey, body-map reading or other content; use it in classes, workshops, clinics, retreats, courses, apps, social media or any paid or public setting; remove copyright notices; or copy, reverse engineer or scrape the app, its design or its content, including to train or feed any AI system.
Accounts. Your access is for you alone. Please don't share your login.
Changes. We may add, change or remove content and features, and we may update these terms. We'll show the date of the latest version at the top of this page.
Voice. Some guided practices use a digital version of Ange's voice, created with his permission from his own recordings.
Liability. The app is provided "as is". Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law allows, Sound of Soma is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for access in the previous 12 months.
Law. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

3. Copyright & intellectual property

All content in this app is owned by or licensed to Sound of Soma and protected by Australian and international copyright law. This includes the sound sessions, recordings and films of classes, guided meditations and scripts, the body-map readings, meditations and remedies, journeys and their sequencing, the oracle card text, the reset programs, photographs and artwork, the app's design, and its code.

"Sound of Soma" and "The Switch Off" are trade marks used by Sound of Soma. You may not use them, or anything confusingly similar, without written permission.

Some sound samples are used under licence from their creators; their credits are available on request.

If you'd like to use any content, for example in your own practice, a workplace session or a publication, please ask first. We're often happy to help. To report copying, email info@soundofsoma.com.au.

4. App membership, free trial & payment

In short. Your membership starts with a 7-day free trial. Your card (or Apple Pay / Google Pay) is taken when you start, but nothing is charged for 7 days. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your plan starts and renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time in a couple of taps.

Plans and prices. The app membership is offered monthly or yearly, at the price shown on the plan screen before you start (in Australian dollars, including GST). From time to time we may offer a founding or promotional price; if you join on one, it stays yours for as long as your membership continues without a break.
Free trial. New members get one free trial of 7 days. Full access starts straight away. If you cancel before the end of day 7, you won't be charged. If you don't, your first payment is taken at the end of the trial, on the date shown when you start. One free trial per person.
Automatic renewal. Your membership renews automatically at the end of each month or year, and the same payment method is charged, until you cancel. We'll email a receipt each time, and remind you before your trial ends and before a yearly plan renews.
Cancelling. Cancel any time from the link in your receipt emails, or by emailing info@soundofsoma.com.au. Cancelling stops the next payment. You keep access until the end of the trial or the period you've already paid for. After that the app asks you to choose a plan again before anything plays.
Refunds. Because you can try everything free first, payments aren't usually refunded for partly used periods or for changing your mind. If you were charged after you cancelled, were charged twice, or something isn't working as it should, email us and we'll put it right. None of this limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Price changes. If the price of your plan changes, we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to you, so you can cancel first if you'd rather.
If a payment fails. We'll try your card again over the following days and email you so you can update it. Your access continues while we retry; if the payment still can't be taken, your membership ends.
Payments. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
Studio classes are separate. Classes, class packs and studio memberships are booked through Momence and have their own terms. An app membership doesn't include studio classes, and a studio membership doesn't include the app unless we tell you it does.

5. Privacy

On your phone. Your check-ins, saved sessions, history, journeys you build and anything you save offline stay on your own device. We don't collect or see them.
What we hold. Your email, used to confirm your membership, to send your plan, receipts and trial reminders, and occasional news from Sound of Soma (you can unsubscribe from the news at any time, from any email). Your answers to the first-time questions stay on your phone. Anything you share with us through Momence when you book.
Other services. Payments are handled by Stripe; our email list is kept in Systeme.io; sounds and recordings stream from our hosting provider; the timetable and booking come from Momence; fonts come from Google Fonts. These services may log standard technical details such as your IP address.
We don't sell your information. You can ask to see or delete what we hold at any time.
